సాధారణం కంటే వర్షాలు తక్కువ : నార్త్ ఇండియాలో కరువు.. సౌత్ ఇండియా కొంచెం బెటర్

భయపడినట్లే జరుగుతుంది.. భారతదేశంలో ఈసారి సాధారణ వర్షాలు కూడా పడే అవకాశం లేదని.. సాధారణ వర్షపాతం 90 శాతంగానే ఉందని స్పష్టం చేసింది భారత వాతావరణ శాఖ. రాబోయే వర్షాకాలం, నైరుతి రుతు పవనాలకు సంబంధించి 2026, మే 29వ తేదీ IMD.. భారత వాతావరణ శాఖ తన నివేదికను పరిశీలిస్తుంది. రాబోయే కరువును.. విపత్తుపై హెచ్చరికలు జారీ చేయటం ఆందోళన కలిగిస్తోంది.

వచ్చే జూన్, జూలై నెలల్లో సాధారణ వర్షపాతం కంటే తక్కువగానే వానలు పడతాయని స్పష్టం చేసింది. జూన్, జూలై నెలల్లో ఎల్ నినో పరిస్థితులు ఏర్పడతాయని స్పష్టం చేసింది ఐఎండీ. ఎల్ నినో అంటే పసిఫిక్ మహా సముద్రం వాతావరణం అసాధారణంగా పెరగటం అన్నమాట. దీన్ని ఎల్ నినోగా పిలుస్తారు. దీని వల్ల వర్షాలు నైరుతి రుతుపవనాలు బలహీనపడి.. వర్షాలు తక్కువగా పడతాయి.

జూన్, జూలై నెలల్లో ఈ ఎల్ నినో ప్రభావం వల్ల సాధారణం కంటే 10 శాతం తక్కువ వర్షాలు పడతాయని.. ఆగస్ట్, సెప్టెంబర్, అక్టోబర్ నాటికి ఎల్ నినో బలపడి.. వర్షాలు లేక వ్యవసాయంపై కరువు ప్రభావం చూపుతుందని భారత వాతావరణ శాఖ తెలిపింది.

ఎల్ నినో ప్రభావంతో రాజస్థాన్, పంజాబ్, హర్యానా, హిమాచల్ ప్రదేశ్, ఉత్తరాఖండ్, ఉత్తరప్రదేశ్, జమ్మూకాశ్మీర్, ఢిల్లీ, చంఢీఘర్ రాష్ట్రాల్లో సాధారణం కంటే తక్కువ వర్షాలు పడతాయని ఐఎండీ స్పష్టం చేసింది.

తెలంగాణ, ఆంధ్ర, కర్నాటక, కేరళ, తమిళనాడు రాష్ట్రాల్లో కొన్నింటికి అవకాశం.. అంతకంటే ఎక్కువ వర్షపాతం నమోదయ్యే అవకాశం ఉందని స్పష్టం చేసింది ఐఎండీ. దక్షిణాది రాష్ట్రాలపైనా ఎల్ నినో ప్రభావం ఉంది.. కొన్ని చోట్ల అధిక వర్షపాతం నమోదయ్యే అవకాశం ఉంది.

ఓవరాల్ గా భారతదేశం అంతా చూస్తే మాత్రం ఈసారి సాధారణ వర్షపాతం కూడా లేదు. దీని వల్ల వ్యవసాయ రంగంపై ఒత్తిడి పెరుగుతుందని.. నీటి కష్టాలు వస్తాయని.. వర్షపాతంపై పంటల సాగు తగ్గుతుందని ఐఎండీ.

కేరళ నుంచి మొదలయ్యే నైరుతి రుతుపవనాల కాలంలో వర్షాలు 70 శాతం వాటా కలిగి ఉన్నాయి.
