హైదరాబాద్లోని నగర పరిధిలోని అర్హులైన నిరుపేదలకు ఇళ్ల స్థలంతో పాటు, ఇందిరమ్మ ఇంటి నిర్మాణానికి ఐదు లక్షల రూపాయల ఆర్థిక సాయం అందజేస్తామని రాష్ట్ర గృహనిర్మాణ శాఖ మంత్రి పొంగులేటి శ్రీనివాస్రెడ్డి ప్రకటించారు. మంత్రులు పొంగులేటి శ్రీనివాస్ రెడ్డి, శ్రీధర్ బాబు, పొన్నం ప్రభాకర్, కాంగ్రెస్ నాయకులు మహ్మద్ అజరుద్దీన్ కలిసి లబ్ధిదారులకు ఈ ఇళ్లను పంపిణీ చేశారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా మంత్రి పొంగులేటి మాట్లాడుతూ.. క్యూర్లో దాదాపు లక్ష మంది ఇందిరమ్మ ఇళ్లను నిర్మిస్తామని చెప్పారు. హైదరాబాద్ సిటీలో దాదాపు 250 కోట్ల విలువైన ప్రభుత్వ భూముల్లో ఈ ఇళ్లను కట్టినట్లు ఆయన తెలిపారు. మొదటి విడత కింద 16 నియోజకవర్గాల్లో ఉన్న స్థలాలు ఉన్నచోట 500 ఇళ్ల చొప్పున నిర్మాణ పనులు చేపడుతున్నామని, ప్రతి ఫ్లాట్ 525 చదరపు అడుగుల విస్తీర్ణంతో లబ్ధిదారులకు వాటా ఉండేలా డిజైన్ చేశామని చెప్పారు. తాము ఇందిరమ్మ ఇండ్లు కట్టే ఒక్కో స్థలం విలువే బహిరంగ మార్కెట్లో 40 నుండి 60 లక్షల రూపాయల వరకు ఉంటుందని ఆయన గుర్తు చేశారు.
గత బీఆర్ఎస్ ప్రభుత్వ నిర్లక్ష్యం వల్లే డబుల్ బెడ్రూమ్ ఇళ్లలో అనేక సమస్యలు వచ్చాయి. గత పాలకుల మాటలు చెప్పి తాము తప్పించుకోబోమని.. క్షేత్రస్థాయిలో పనులు చేసి చూపిస్తామన్నారు. ఇప్పటికే స్థలం ఉన్నవారికి 4.5 లక్షల ఇళ్లు ఇచ్చామని, రెండో విడతలో మరో 2.5 లక్షల ఇళ్లను కలిగి ఉందని. ఇంటి స్థలం లేని నిరుపేదలకు స్థలాలను కేటాయించేందుకు చర్యలు తీసుకుంటున్నామని.. పేదవాడు ఎక్కడ ఉంటే అక్కడే ఇళ్లు నిర్మించి ఇస్తామని మంత్రి పొంగులేటి శ్రీనివాస్ రెడ్డి హామీ ఇచ్చారు. రాబోయే ఆగస్టు నాటికి రెండు లక్షల ఇందిరమ్మ ఇళ్ల నిర్మాణాన్ని పూర్తి చేసి తీరుతామని ఆయన ధీమా వ్యక్తం చేశారు.
